What is Building Tomorrow and what can I do to help?
In short, BT empowers students like you to raise money and build primary schools for kids who couldn't otherwise afford to go to school. We are committed to encouraging students to look beyond their own lives and to work to improve the lives of others. You have the power to make a huge impact in the lives of children, thousands of miles away, and BT wants to help you do just that.
BT is very grateful for the continued support of Key Club International and we look forward to working with more Key Clubs in the future. However, you don’t have to be in Key Club to support BT! Keep reading for more information, tips, & ideas…
What Key Club has Already Accomplished Through BT
In November 2006 ,150 Key Clubs worldwide joined together during Key Club Week to raise enough money to build the BT Academy of Bembe. In September 2007, eight Key Club members traveled to Bembe to break ground on the academy which opened in May 2008. Today, the Academy serves nearly 300 children, many of which are attending class for the very first time.

What If You Aren't A Member Of Key Club?
-
See if your school’s Key Club is already involved with BT; maybe there is a way you can work with them on a BT fund-raiser without being a member.
-
Working with Key Club not an option? Try joining up with another student group (like National Honor Society or Student Council) and hold a fund-raiser or run an awareness campaign.
-
OR, be bold and start your own BT club and/or project! The fund-raiser and awareness ideas above should come in handy but we're here to help! Just be sure to follow your school’s guidelines about extracurricular activities.
-
Keep in mind, starting a BT club or holding a fund-raiser can be a lot of work, so it helps to work with a group of friends. Trust us, the more the merrier!
