The Race to Learn

Building Tomorrow and Ed Carpenter Racing have teamed up to support education in the Month of May. On May 14, defending winner Rinus VeeKay will debut the No. 21 Building Tomorrow Chevrolet in the GMR Grand Prix road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This partnership is raising awareness and funding for education in rural Uganda by directly supporting Building Tomorrow’s programs.

Did You Know?

Building Tomorrow works to improve learning for children living in rural, underserved communities throughout Uganda, which was marked by the longest school closures in the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 10 million children were out of school for nearly two years, from March 2020 to January 2022.

Ride with Rinus

From March 30 to May 3, in a first-of-its kind campaign, more than 800 people donated $75 to support Building Tomorrow’s programs and get their names on Rinus VeeKay’s No. 21 Building Tomorrow Chevrolet that he will debut on May 14. We are grateful for their support.

We are still revving our engines up to keep kids learning in Uganda. You can be a driver of change by donating to Building Tomorrow here. (Please note, we unfortunately are no longer able to add additional names to the car.)

Be sure to tune into NBC, Peacock, or IndyCar Live! at 3:00pm EST on May 14 to watch the No. 21 Building Tomorrow Chevrolet in action in the GMR Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway!
