Building Tomorrow currently works in Uganda.

Each BT school has 10 rooms with seven classrooms, a headmaster's office, a reception area, a library, toilets and a soccer field.

It only takes $45,000 to build one school in Uganda! The money pays for the land, construction materials and desks. Local community members volunteer over 25,000 hours to complete the construction!

BT Academies are built in areas that do not currently have a formal school in operation, giving many children their first opportunity to learn inside of a classroom.

The Ugandan Ministry of Education covers teachers’ salaries and operating costs.

BT has approximately 15 college chapters across the USA, as well as a partnership with Key Club International, the world's largest high school service organization.

100% of money raised by BT chapters goes directly towards program costs in Uganda. BT's administrative costs are covered by private donations and grants.

Building Tomorrow was named one of the top 20 up-and-coming social change organizations in the world in 2007 by Echoing Green.

BT has built classroom space for over 1,000 students in Uganda.

Building Tomorrow Goals
BT intends to reach the following milestones by the end of 2010:
- add 4 participating campuses annually
- raise $200,000 for new schools annually
- open a total of 10 schools
- provide an education to 3,000 students
