Kibimba B village, home of the future school and one of the poorest communities in Lwengo District, is located approximately 10km off the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara highway. Currently, there exists no formal primary school in the area and students from the community rely on schools between 3.5 to 5km away. The new Building Tomorrow school will serve students and families in six neighboring villages: Kibimba B, Kibimba A, Kitwekyajovu, Kabukye A, Kabukye B and Kasabya.
Mr. Tumusime Efurayimu, a community member of Kibimba B village, has generously donated three acres of land for the community primary school.
Lwengo District is also home to the BT Academy of Lukindu and the future BT Academy of Mayira, where site planning is currently underway. District education officers have demonstrated a strong commitment to education and have proven dedicated partners.
