Apply to be a BT Campus Leader

did you know…?
In order to achieve the Millennium Development goal of Universal Primary Education, Uganda needs to build 4988 classrooms annually between now and 2015. Currently, about 2786 get built each year.

Learning inside of a well-built school raises the standard deviation of student achievement by 10 percentage points in sub-Saharan Africa.

The single most important element of infrastructure that contributes to higher teacher attendance at school in sub-Saharan Africa is a latrine.

Few will have the greatness to bend history itself; but each of us can work to change a small portion of events, and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of this generation. – RFK

the goal.

As a BT Campus Leader, your goal (& the goal of your entire chapter) is to provide an education to as many children in sub-Saharan Africa as possible. It costs $150 to put one child in school and 100% of the money you raise will go towards the construction of new Building Tomorrow primary-level academies. For every $60,000 raised, a school will be built. How cool is that?!

the program.
