This May, a team of runners will be participating in the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon…the world’s largest half-marathon! They’ll be running for Building Tomorrow and, in the coming months, will be working to collectively raise $… to support BT’s work!

Fund-raising. Seeing as the mini comes right on the heels of Build-a-School Night, we’ve decided not to have any direct fund-raising links on the BT website to sponsor BT’s Mini Team, just because we don’t want to over-ask our donors. That being said, we don’t want to discourage anyone from asking family and friends who might be from out of town and otherwise not familiar with BT to give, if that’s something you feel comfortable doing. So, in short, fund-raising is totally optional. BUT, if you do want to, the easiest way is to create an online fundraising page!

Get Together. We’re planning to have a pre or post-race party! Check back soon for details…

T-shirts. We’re having Team BT t-shirts made and they will cost between $20-25. The shirts will be wicking t-shirts so they’ll be comfortable to run in. We hope they’ll be a great conversation starter at the race!
