It is with great excitement that we announce the addition of Katie Zarich to the Building Tomorrow USA team! Katie will assume the role of Financial Optimist when she starts with Building Tomorrow in mid-August, assisting us with a number of tasks ranging from the formation and execution of an annual giving plan, fostering relationships with integral supporters and stakeholders and managing our development-related communications and general operations.
Like everyone at Building Tomorrow, she’s going to be busy!
Katie comes to Building Tomorrow having been at the Indianapolis Museum of Art since 2005, most recently serving as Deputy Director of Public Affairs and Counsel. Katie’s responsibilities included marketing, public relations, government relations, visitor services, volunteers and legal affairs. Prior to joining the IMA, Katie worked at the Capital Improvement Board of Managers and in the office of Mayor Bart Peterson.
A graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington, Katie majored in Political Science and Religious Studies and earned a certificate of Business through the Liberal Arts Management Program. Katie received her J.D. From the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University in 2010 and was admitted to the Indiana Bar the same year. Katie resides in Indianapolis with her husband Jon and son Blaise.
Katie becomes the 11th full time employee at Building Tomorrow and the third to join our team this year!
