Earlier this week, members of our Board of Directors, in Uganda for our first international board meeting, had the opportunity to participate in the commissioning ceremony for the Building Tomorrow Academy of Mabaale. The Academy was funded through a challenge grant partnership with One Day’s Wages. Though classes will not begin until the start of the first academic term in February, the ceremony itself marks the end of construction – a milestone definitely worth celebrating.

After the ceremony, our team ventured off to visit a number of other academies, including a stop at the BT Academy of Sentigi where they snapped off a couple of shots that we couldn’t resist sharing with you:
