Deputy Country Director | full-time | Uganda-based

Building Tomorrow, Inc, an international social-profit organization uniting communities and individuals in support of access to quality education in East Africa, invites interested individuals to apply for our Deputy Country Director/Head of Programs position.

Building Tomorrow is a fast-growing organization and with current funding and growth targets, requires someone who can manage growth in our Uganda office. It is essential this person be a self-starter with the ability to oversee various aspects of our Uganda office including program management, operational support, M&E/impact measurement and to provide key strategic and leadership guidance. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in the development space and is eager to continue growing in their career through such an opportunity. Additionally, our ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in a management position, possesses excellent writing and financial skills, confidence in leading a growing team, communicates clearly, has energy and passion for our mission, a great sense of humor and looks forward to deepening Building Tomorrow’s impact. In-Country Story Teller | full-time, 6-month contract | Uganda-based

Building Tomorrow, Inc., an international social-profit organization that catalyzes communities and individuals in support of access to quality education for students in East Africa, invites interested individuals to apply for our In-Country Story Teller position. This is a six-month, short-term opportunity based in Kampala, Uganda with the potential for contract renewal. This role will afford the chosen applicant with the opportunity to engage in multiple tasks across the organization while engaged in creative story telling to multiple readers from a wide demographic.
