On October 29, George Srour, Founder of Building Tomorrow (BT), will visit McCombs for a discussion of BT’s mission, his experience in starting a non-profit organization, and his motivation for a career in philanthropy.

Srour, 26, is the founder and director of Building Tomorrow, Inc. (BT), an Indianapolis-based social-profit organization encouraging philanthropy among young people by raising awareness and funds to build and support the construction of primary schools serving vulnerable children in sub-Saharan Africa. To date, BT has established campus chapters at 25 colleges and universities nationwide and has a partnership with Key Club International, the world’s largest high school service organization with over 250,000 members. BT will open at least 10 Academies in Uganda by the end of 2010, serving over 3,000 students.
