Today marks the start of the future Building Tomorrow Academy of Kabasegwa (#14!), supported by Kappa Kappa Gamma at The University of Texas at Austin!

In the village of Kabasegwa, the only classroom infrastructure currently available consists of a temporary structure partitioned into six classes by papyrus.

Community members and local leaders from seven villages – Kabasegwa included – in the Lyantonde District of Uganda have donated land and pledged to volunteer their time and support construction of a new academy. The Ugandan government has committed to post teachers and support the academy upon its opening, and our team in Uganda is ready to get started!
