In the U.S. when our teachers decide to take class outside for the day, smiles and excited faces are the usual response. For Aisha it’s the opposite. This 10-year-old anxiously awaits the day she can be inside a building for school. Aisha and her classmates currently learn their lessons outside under a structure with no walls, but only a roof to provide shade. As a P2 student, Aisha’s favorite subject is English. The little one is excited to continue to learn English in her new school, the BT Academy of Bugabo. Hopefully those joyous smiles the American students have to go outside the building will be all over Aisha and her fellow classmates faces when they are able to go inside their new school building.
