2024 was a record-breaking year for Building Tomorrow…we reached our 500,000th Roots to Rise learner (and counting)! And this year alone, Building Tomorrow engaged almost 280,000 learners in Roots to Rise school and community camps.

Talufah
When she first joined Roots to Rise, 10-year-old Talufah struggled to read and write. With Roots to Rise, she has improved one whole level and is now able to read full words and string them together in sentences. Talufah now dreams of becoming a businesswoman!
Monica and Jemimah
Monica, a Roots to Rise focal teacher, noticed her student Jemimah was falling behind in class. After enrolling Jemimiah in a school Roots to Rise camp, Jemimah’s performance in the classroom is already improving!
Ronald and Ngobi Ryan
Ronald, a BT Fellow, helped to enroll Ngobi Ryan in an R2R school camp at Bulyansime Primary School after noticing he was falling behind in class. When he grows up, Ryan dreams of becoming a lawyer!
